Who this is for

Students with something to say and no idea how to start.

Coaching is one to one because essays are. There is no curriculum to follow: we start from what your student actually did last summer, and find the version of it worth 650 words.

Not the right fit

If your student needs someone to write it for them, this is not that service, and no amount of money changes that answer.

Blank document, three weeks in Draft that sounds like everyone else's Nine supplements, no plan 1,100 words, needs to be 650 First in the family to apply Strong story, second language Deadline in six weeks Won't take edits from a parent
What you get

Six deliverables, not six chats.

A story inventory

Session one produces a written list of eight things your student could write about, ranked.

A finished personal statement

650 words, taken through at least four drafts, in your student's own voice.

Supplement plan and drafts

Three supplements written in the twelve-session package, with a reuse map for the rest.

Line edits between sessions

Every draft comes back marked up within two working days, with reasons not just changes.

Interview practice

One mock alumni interview, recorded, with notes on what to cut and what to keep.

Parent updates, on request

A short written note after every second session if your student agrees to it. Their call, not ours.

HOW COACHING RUNS

Three stages, six to twelve weeks.

From last season

Two families, two very different starts.

He came in with 1,100 words about a soccer injury. He left with 640 about his grandmother's kitchen, and he wrote every one of them himself.

English is her second language and she was terrified the essay would sound flat. Naomi kept the sentences that sounded like her and cut the ones that sounded like a textbook.

Quotes are from Larkfield coaching families and describe their own experience. Individual outcomes vary.
